Ledlie Family History
Welcome!
This web site has been created so that a history of the Ledlie family can be developed. My name is Maxwell Ledlie and I have information and family trees of fellow Ledlies dating from the mid 1600’s. Believed to have originated in Scotland, at least two Ledlies settled in Ulster around 1620 and their descendants either remained in Ireland or emigrated to various parts of the world. The website consists of text (accessed via the Contents link below) and charts of the various families accessed either from links within the text or via the comprehensive index which facilitates searching for individual names – see below. Thank you for visiting this site – before proceeding please note the following: PRIVACY OF INFORMATIONAll information on this website is subject to the laws ofCOPYRIGHTand must not be used for purposes other than family
research. Personal Information Everything possible has been done to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and much of the detail has been provided by members of the Ledlie family or obtained from readily accessible public records. It is recognised that publication of some of the information may not be desirable to individuals who are still alive – for example dates and places of birth. Anyone wishing to have
